The look below is from our friends in France Les Indispensables, and the outfit shows too. Navy with white is seen often with French styling, and this is no exception. Here they've styled it with a pair of white jeans (and white socks too as a tonal extension through to the feet for a clean look) with our navy shawl collar cardigan. To go with the blue theme, the shawl collar cardigan is layered over the top of a dark denim shirt.
The look works really well as a casual outfit as all three main pieces are fairly rugged and casual in appearance (the woolly texture of the shawl collar cardigan, together with the rugged textures of the denim shirt and white jeans).
Despite the ruggedness of the pieces themselves, there is a lovely elegance to this look that is typical of French style due to the fact that the colours are sleek and clean.
