Here, Illya has created a beautifully balanced palette, built around our Navy Lambswool Fisherman Cable Rollneck with a matching navy knit hat for a cohesive feel. Paired with ecru trousers, the look stays light while the veg-tanned horsehide and sheep fur jacket adds depth, texture and a sense of timeless character. Together, the pieces form a warm, refined outfit that feels both purposeful and effortlessly stylish.

Friends of Colhay's Lookbook: Christmas Edition
"Friends of Colhay's" is a series of lookbooks featuring our friends in the menswear community who have worn our knitwear in particularly stylish and creative ways that we think would make for wonderful styling inspiration to others.
This season, we're thrilled to bring the series back with an exciting new twist. This Christmas, we invited our customers to be part of the lookbook, offering them the chance to showcase their Colhay's knitwear and styling skills. We wanted to create a fun opportunity for them to shine and inspire others with their creativity.
We loved all the fantastic photos we received – thank you for sharing your style with us!
This lookbook showcases an array of our products, styled in various ways. Whether you're seeking inspiration for an elegant evening or a casual day out, you'll find the perfect look here.
Superfine Lambswool Cricket Sweater
1. Dempsey, @dempseyholloway
Starting off with our Superfine Lambswool Cricket Sweater, styled by Dempsey. Paired with rich burgundy trousers that perfectly complement the V-neck detailing of the sweater. The trousers feature adjustable straps and pleats, creating a refined, elegant silhouette. Layered underneath is a grey long-sleeved polo shirt, adding a subtle contrast to the ensemble. To finish, the look is completed with a pair of brown loafers.
2. Dempsey, @dempseyholloway
For a more casual, everyday look you can opt for a lighter pair of taupe trousers, as Dempsey has done so below. This tones down the outfit slightly, yet still offers a pop of colour with the burgundy and navy V-neck colourway, layered over a brown button up shirt. This combination keeps things effortlessly elegant without feeling too formal. Once again tied together with brown leather loafers.
3. Will, @thedonsclub
Below, Will styles our Ecru Submariner Rollneck layered over a classic white button-up shirt, paired with brown corduroy trousers and finished with a white denim jacket. This combination highlights a rich contrast of textures, balancing softness and structure for an effortlessly refined look.
4. Aish, @mostlyivy
Aish has put together an outfit centred around our Cashmere Shirt Cardigan, which may seem simple at first glance, however it is thoughtfully accessorised with a distinctive scarf. The added colour blends naturally with the brown trousers and shoes, giving the look a subtle sense of depth and character.
5. Aish, @mostlyivy
There’s nothing better than a cardigan that can be styled in multiple ways, and the Merino Club Cardigan delivers exactly that. Here, Aish has styled it with our Cashmere Silk Tennis Polo in dark olive layered underneath, creating a sophisticated yet relaxed look. He has paired the outfit with both brown and beige trousers, offering versatile contrast options depending on the type of outing you’re dressing for.
6. Illya, @illcutz
7. Aish, @mostlyivy
Aish has styled the navy Cashmere Polo Shirt under a softly structured brown check blazer, with high-waisted pleated trousers in a light ecru to soften the silhouette, tied together with a woven leather belt and polished brown loafers. A classic, understated approach to tailoring.
8. Shuhei, @shuhei_nishiguchi
No lookbook would be complete without our iconic Shawl Collar Cardigan. Shuhei showcases an excellent way to style knitwear as outerwear by layering it over a herringbone tweed blazer and a navy mock neck, adding a hint of formality. He keeps the look casual by pairing it with jeans, striking the perfect balance between tailoring and relaxed outerwear.
9. Aish, @mostlyivy
Another relaxed take on everyday tailoring, this outfit by Aish pairs our soft olive Cashmere Crew Neck with a navy textured blazer. Taupe trousers keep the palette balanced and versatile, while the multicoloured scarf introduces a pop of colour and character without feeling overstated. An effortless way to combine classic tailoring with warmth and personality.
10. Aish, @mostlyivy
For a more neutral palette, Aish layers our olive crew neck with earthy toned garments, creating a harmonious look. He pairs it with a brown herringbone tweed blazer, brown trousers and brown evening shoes for a sophisticated and coordinated feel. Another patterned scarf, still multicoloured but more subdued, adds just the right touch of colour to pull it all together. It's a similar combination to the one above, but with a slightly more formal twist.
11. Aish, @mostlyivy
Aish continues to impress us with wonderful styling inspiration, this time with our Superfine Lambswool Tennis Cardigan in burgundy. A perfect balance between casual and sophisticated, he has paired this with bright navy jeans and a tweed blazer. Completing the look with a pinstripe shirt, unbuttoned at the collar for a laid-back look and leather loafers to finish it off.
12. Illya, @illcutz
Last but certainly not least, Illya shows off some knit-on-knit action by layering our Shawl Collar Cardigan over a dark brown rollneck, serving as an outerwear piece. Beautifully accessorised with a patterned floral scarf, a fedora hat and fun pins.
